Tori Bilcik

Communications and Development Associate

Tori is the communications and development associate at Community Catalyst, supporting programs across the organization as they work to achieve their communications and fundraising goals.

Before taking on this role, Tori served as a communications intern at Community Catalyst in the summer and fall of 2017, supporting the communications team's digital and social media campaigns around defending the Affordable Care Act and Medicaid expansion as leaders in Congress tried multiple times to repeal and replace the law and strip coverage from millions of people. Tori has also interned at Keshet doing LGBTQ+ advocacy work, and at Culture Magazine: The Word on Cheese. Her writing has been published in The Boston Globe, The Mary Sue, and Substream Magazine, among others.

Tori holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Emerson College, where she minored in women's, gender and sexuality studies.

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
