Stacey Wright, MPH, MSW, is the Senior Director of Equity and Engagement and a member of the senior management team at Community Catalyst.

In this role, Stacey oversees the development and implementation of organization-wide efforts to center health equity and racial justice in Community Catalyst’s programmatic work.

Previously, Stacey worked for the New York City Department of Health, where she led her bureau’s health education, community outreach, and dismantling racism initiatives. She also served on the agency’s Race to Justice core leadership team. Her work on race equity and the model she co-created with her former team has been published and serves as a resource for other local health departments.

As a public health educator and clinical social worker, Stacey is passionate about helping others learn and heal from racial and other life traumas. In her work, Stacey centers the power of human connection, integrating narrative, healing justice, and trauma-responsive practices in her approach to advancing individual and collective healing, race equity, and social justice.

Stacey received a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College, a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Columbia University, and a Master of Social Work (MSW) from New York University. Stacey is a native New Yorker who stays rooted in community through her connection to faith, family, urban gardening, and community theater.
