Katie Warner is a Senior Project Manager of Partner Engagement at Community Catalyst. In this role, Katie supports efforts to enhance our technical assistance, build capacity of our providers, respond to the needs of our partners, and explicitly center racial equity.

Previously, Katie was the Director of YES! for Equity at the Partnership for Southern Equity, and a co-founder and Senior Program Director of the North Carolina-based non-profit, Youth Empowered Solutions (YES!). Katie is also the founding Principal of the KSW Collective, LLC.

Over the past 15+ years, Katie has provided training, technical assistance, consulting, and capacity-building to youth and adult teams across the country working to build intergenerational power and center racial equity as a vehicle to shift public policy. Throughout Katie’s time in the non-profit sector, she has served on numerous boards and coalitions that center their work on public health and health equity: NC Alliance for Health, NC Alliance of YMCAs, Triangle Area Parenting Support (TAPS), and more.

Katie received a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health/community health from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, and a master’s degree in health education and promotion from East Carolina University.
