This webinar presented core competencies needed for the assessment and diagnosis of cognitive impairment in older adults. Presenters addressed major causes of progressive dementias in older adults, introduced tools used to assess cognitive functioning and key elements of a social assessment that may inform a comprehensive evaluation of dementia.

The webinars are also intended for frontline community partners and delivery staff such as care managers, member service representatives and home care providers.
