Amanda is Chief Enterprise Communications Officer at Community Catalyst, where she leads integrated communications strategies that elevate the organization’s national voice and advance health equity, consumer advocacy, and systems change.

With more than 25 years of experience spanning nonprofit, corporate, and agency sectors, Amanda is a nationally recognized communications leader known for building high-impact visibility campaigns, executive thought leadership platforms, and mission-driven storytelling initiatives. Prior to joining Community Catalyst, Amanda held senior communications and marketing roles with leading global nonprofits, including United Way Worldwide, American Red Cross National Headquarters, and a national health charity, as well as corporate positions with The Franklin Mint and Swank Motion Pictures. In 2021, she founded The Social Impact Group, a growing network of nearly 100 corporate citizenship leaders representing major global companies across healthcare, technology, finance, retail, sports, and entertainment.

Amanda holds a Bachelor’s in English from Penn State, Master’s in Media Communications from Webster University, and Executive Education in Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Business Strategy from Harvard Business School.  

She previously served on the board of the Public Relations Society of America National Capital Chapter as chapter secretary and currently sits on the advisory board for Ragan Communications and PR Daily where she’s a popular event speaker and contributing writer. Amanda volunteered as the Family Readiness Group Coordinator for her husband’s U.S. Army Reserve unit and was awarded the Army Commanders Award for Public Service Medal.
