Daisha Bonhomme, MS is a Senior Project Manager at Community Catalyst supporting the Vaccine Equity and Access Program (VEAP) and community-first public health (CFPH) initiatives. In this role, Daisha supports efforts to increase vaccine confidence and access in underserved communities and supports the expansion of CFPH initiatives aimed at addressing health disparities, promoting community engagement, and advancing health justice.

Daisha has more than eight years of experience as a public health and wellness program manager. She is passionate about the promotion of healthy living and disease prevention and is dedicated to driving positive outcomes, enhancing community engagement, and addressing health inequities. She has served as lead project manager on “The Impact of Long COVID on Black and Hispanic/Latinx Communities” — a project focused on Long COVID.

Before joining the Community Catalyst team, Daisha was a program manager within Louisiana’s Office of Public Health. In this role, Daisha was instrumental in cultivating community-clinical linkages to implement policy, systems, and environmental changes that reduce the burden of chronic disease and ensure a healthier future for Louisiana’s communities.

Daisha is a native of Louisiana and received a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences, a Master of Science degree in kinesiology, and is a Certified Health and Well-being Coach through the Wellcoaches School of Coaching.
