Jenny Chiang, MSW, is a Project Manager at Community Catalyst’s Center for Community Engagement in Health Innovation. In this role, Jenny works with state and community-based advocacy organizations across the country to strengthen medical debt protections and encourage an inclusive approach to hospital community benefit practices.

Previously, Jenny served as the executive director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Asian American Commission. With an extensive background in community organizing, Jenny has worked alongside community leaders at UMass Boston, the Boston Public Health Commission, and the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence.

Jenny received a bachelor’s degree in biology and a minor in Asian American studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Jenny received a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Boston College, where she focused on health and mental health policy.
