Tanekwah Hinds is a Senior State Advocacy Manager for the State & Community Health Advocacy Program at Community Catalyst. In this role, Tanekwah supports advocacy organizations in the expansion of Medicaid and health care access across the country.
Previously, Tanekwah worked at the ACLU of Massachusetts, where she developed strategies for voting rights and criminal justice campaigns and partnered with local leaders and organizations to create advocacy opportunities for impacted communities. She also planned outreach events, coordinated gender-inclusive competency trainings, and advocated for local resources to support the LGBTQ+ community at Fenway Health and the Massachusetts Commission on LGBTQ Youth.
Tanekwah received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wellesley College.
