Tashi Sanchez-Llaury is a Digital Communications Manager at Community Catalyst. In this role, Tashi works across the organization to provide digital support and collaboration. Tashi is a Peruvian, undocumented, queer femme who uses she/they pronouns.

Tashi has organized in the Immigrant Rights Movement for more than ten years and continues to be involved today. Through their work in the movement, Tashi moved into the digital organizing field: acquiring skills in graphic design, virtual facilitation, community engagement, and social media management.

Tashi is an interdisciplinary artist, small-business owner, and runs an education initiative. She is grounded and invested in learning and healing in community, and centers liberation of Black and brown communities in their praxis.

Tashi received bachelor’s degrees in both early childhood education and psychology from Southern Connecticut State University, as well as a master’s degree in bilingual education and multicultural studies.
