Rohini Kosoglu is a senior executive, board advisor, and investor working at the intersection of policy, innovation, and AI governance in highly regulated industries. She brings seasoned operating judgment from overseeing complex systems where regulatory and technological risk converge. As a venture partner at Fusion Fund, she invests in early-stage health care and technology companies. As a senior advisor at Assemble, a public affairs firm, she advises companies and boards on regulatory dynamics including FDA and CMS, reimbursement strategy, AI oversight, enterprise risk management, and scaling innovation in regulated markets.
She previously held senior leadership roles in the White House and U.S. Congress, including Deputy Assistant to the President and Domestic Policy Advisor to the Vice President, and Chief of Staff in the U.S. Senate. In those roles she helped shape major national initiatives spanning health access and lower drug prices, maternal health, and AI governance. In the U.S. Senate, she was also a key negotiator in the Affordable Care Act, 21st Century Cures, and the Cancer Moonshot.
Kosoglu’s board experience spans nonprofit, private sector, and AI advisory roles across health care and technology, with particular strength in audit and risk oversight, regulatory and compliance strategy, and crisis leadership. She has recently held fellowships at Stanford University’s Institute for Human-Centered AI and the Harvard Kennedy School’s Institute of Politics. She is also a founder and board chair of The DAND Alliance, a foundation advancing research and therapeutic development for an ultra-rare genetic disorder.
