Shaina Goodman is a leader and policy expert, with deep experience in strategic visioning, policy agenda development, Congressional and administrative advocacy, coalition building, and stakeholder engagement.
As Community Catalyst’s Vice President of Policy and Government Affairs, she is responsible for shaping the organization’s integrated policy, research, and government affairs work to ensure that health systems are accessible, affordable, and accountable to the communities they serve.
Prior to this role, Shaina was Vice President of Policy and Advocacy at Morgan Health, a division of JPMorganChase focused on improving health care access, affordability, and equity in employer-sponsored insurance. Previously, she led the development and execution of the National Partnership for Women and Families’ reproductive health and rights portfolio, including in the aftermath of the Supreme Court’s decision in Dobbs.
Shaina began her federal policy career in the gender-based violence movement, where she worked on implementation of the Violence Against Women Act as well as issues at the intersection of domestic violence and economic security.
Shaina has a JD, Masters in Social Work, and BA from Washington University in St. Louis. She lives in Washington DC with her husband and young children.
